I really hated the car from the previous post, so I made a new one. While better, it's not really where I would like it to be, as far as quality goes. But soon after I drew this car, I got bored of pixel art, so I guess we will see if I ever draw car version 3. I should at least remove the old bad car, and add this one in to the picture from below. Ah, if only time allowed such trivial pursuits, haha.Thursday, March 1, 2007
Car Version 2
I really hated the car from the previous post, so I made a new one. While better, it's not really where I would like it to be, as far as quality goes. But soon after I drew this car, I got bored of pixel art, so I guess we will see if I ever draw car version 3. I should at least remove the old bad car, and add this one in to the picture from below. Ah, if only time allowed such trivial pursuits, haha.Me and My Friends

This is one of my favorites! This took SO long, but I think it turned out nicely. This was done the same way as the tree below, one pixel at a time. These are hard because you have to get used to getting your message through with as few strokes as possible. There just isn't room for complete outlines. See if you can pick out your favorite "friend of Shawn", haha.
Pixel Tree
This is a drawing in a style that a lot of my favorite video games were done in. It's an isometric viewpoint, and done completely by placing each pixel seperately. I would zoom way in and draw this one pixel at a time. Painstaking, but totally vintage. I love pixel art! I actually programmed an interface for these little isometric maps where you could move a cursor around on them. It was neat, I will have to post it sometime.
Gauxix Sketch
World of Dreams Logo

This is a concept logo I did for an abandoned game idea. We still hope to take the general idea and work it into Mirror Story, so keep an eye out. This logo is fairly simple, especially compared to the Mirror Story logo, but I liked this one quite a bit back when I made it. Click the logo to see how it should really look, the black background is ruining the GIF, since it was meant to be on a white background.
Witch Girl
Ezra

This is a sketch of a proposed character in an upcoming mini-comic that Jeremy and I want to add to Mirror Story. He is a "spellshaper", a wizard that specializes in actually constructing spells. Almost a spell-scientist, if that makes sense. His name is "Ezra". I wanted him to look like his clothes were too big, since he is so skinny.
